Amsinckia menziesii, also known as Menzie's fiddleneck, has 225000 seeds per pound. From OregonFlora: Menzies’ fiddleneck is a lovely member of the forgot-me-not family with an inflorescence that resembles the scroll neck of a fiddle. This decorative spring bloomer can be spotted growing along forest edges, prairies, and roadsides in the neighboring lowlands and midlands of the Oregon Cascades. Menzies’ fiddleneck can be recognized by its densely spreading bristly hairs, lance-shaped leaves, and small tubular flowers in hues of sunglow yellow to orange. Plant this easy-to-grow annual with other full sun species in a wildlife meadow, where it can serve as a food source for native, honey, and bumble bees.
Seed treatment reccommendations: 60 days cold-moist stratification
